2008 Toyota Corolla
I've heard for over 20 years about how an electric oil pump will greatly improve the life of your engine by getting the oil circulated at full pressure throughout the engine before starting the car.
I've heard that 80% of the wear in an engine is in the first few seconds before the oil gets fully circulated at full pressure and that an electric oil pump fixes that issue.
Pat Goss on "MOTORWEEK" talked about them once and highly recommended them.
I've searched the internet high and low and can find nothing on any such device. Auto parts stores have never heard of such a thing.
Do y'all know anything about them?
Who makes them?
Where can I get one?
Am I dreaming?
