A/C suddenly does not work. A/C press-burton light is on. Fuse is ok. Compressor is idle and push in with running belt. No electricity signal to compressor. What's wrong?

Thanks

Hi mzliu,

Hi mzliu,

I mean power to relay, not from relay to compressor.

Pull out relay and test the terminals for power source, there should be 2 with engine running and AC turned on.

If only 1 powered terminal, check for blown fuse underhood if is the power supply.
Check wire and connection from ignition switch or fuse if it is the coil that is not getting power.

If there are 2 powered terminals, plug relay in and if it clicks and still no power to compressor, the relay is bad.

If it does not click, you need to check for bad ground, I don't have the schematic so unable to tell you where it would lead to.
