Our 2001 Toyota Corolla Sport is leaking anti-freeze or collant (greenish neon color) into the inside of the car on the passenger side under the glove-box, but only when parked uphill. Recently the car over-heated while driving uphill. Is this serious? And is it the anti-freeze? Can I fix this myself or is this a cheap fix?

Hi there, this is sounding like a heater core leaking, you will have to get the cooling system pressure tested to tset and confirm this first, if so I would be getting a mechanic as it is a fairly major job, approx 7 hours.

Mark is absolutely correct, but I would have to ask you a question,

Have you ever had the cooling system flushed and coolant changed? Toyota uses an antifreeze called "Toyota Red", it is the only antifreeze I would use in the 1ZZFE engine.
