Shakes or Wobbles problem
1999 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 114k miles

Hi, my car didn't pass a car test because a battery was not fixed properly (shakes/wobbles). Could you give an idea how it should be fixed correctly. If you have any pictures - it would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

You probably need a battery hold down to hold battery in place-you sure its the correct size battery for it.

Most Toyota's use a bracket that spans the battery and is held down on front by bolt on frame and in rear by rod with hook on one end.
Buy a factory replacement from Toyota, or a generic one from most autoparts stores.

It is important that the battery is secure, if it moved and the + came in contact with any metal, it could do severe damage to electrical system.
