The latch is stuck so it is going to be a matter of trying to release it by using a couple methods.
Basically, we want to start with using the key and push down on the trunk to remove any pressure from the latch. As you are pushing down, work the key back and forth and see if it will pop open.
If this does not work, then you want to use a spray lubricant in the lock so use the straw and spray it inside the lock where the key goes.
Then let it sit for about 10 minutes and start working the key back and forth. This should loosen up the latch enough to get it to start working.
Once it is open, you will want to spray it down really well so that you can work any dirt out of the latch so that it frees up or you will have to replace it.
If you look at the picture below, you will see the rod that may be bent as well.
So basically, we need to work through this info and see what we find with this and that will tell us what direction to go next.
