Transmission problem
1997 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, can you please help me?
When I accelorate, I feel like its forceing itself to go. I know its not an engine problem. Can it be my transmission? If it is, whats wrong with it?

Raise car put on stands, locate transmission pan drain plug, look to rear of trans plug, if you see another drain plug that looks exactly like the trans plug, that is differential plug.

Look at CV axle seals in trans to see if they are leaking, if so then differential is low on fluid, fill plug is on rear of differential, Remove and fill to proper level, change axle seals. Differential uses same ATF as trans.
