My question was what causes the stiop fuse to blow out in a Toyota Coro;a model 1997 whenever you shift the gear to the parking position.

Your answer was:

Is this a big problem? Is the repair process complicated? Does it needs new parts? And how can it be repaired? How much does it cost to repair such a problem approximately.

Hi there,

To answer these question we need to be able to inspect the circuit first hand, as the previous answer said it can be related to a few different circuits, I would first disconnect the lock out solenoid at the shifter and see if that stops the fuse from blowing, if so that may be your problem, start here.
