2002 Toyota Corolla cruise control handle only

How hard is it to replace the cruise control handle only, it has broken off? If possible could you give me step by step instructions to follow-I don't want to disturb the air bag since this is very dangerous. The wires are still present and work well-it is just the handle

No its not part of the turn signal-its a totally seperate switch-it has accelerate/decellerate/aand resume-
