Engine Cooling problem

Hello,
I have toyota corolla. 4, 5 days before I was driving the car and I found little bit different sound in the engine. I checked there is no water in the radiator. So I filled the water and I found same sound (bit vibrating also). I went to nearby mechanic he checked all plugs, in one plug he found water. He cleaned all plugs. But the sound still there and water problem remain there. I went another mechanic he opened the engine cap from where we put oil the oil reverse back with pressure. By this the mechanic said might your engine has gone.

Can you please suggest what could be the problem. Can it be repaired or needs to change the engine.

Hi there,

You have probably done a head gasket, this is quite repairable, but ensure that whoever dose the job has the head checked for cracks and warp, replace the thermostat and get the radiator cleaned at the same time.
