I have a 1994 toyota celica, and it started leaking coolant on the floor of the passenger side of the car. I took it to a mechanic who said it was the heater core and that it would cost over $1,000 to replace it. I was wondering if this is an outrageous price for replacement, or if there was some kind of solvent I could use that might temporarily seal the heater core.
