Car was running but spuddard at a idle speed no matter what speed I was at. Either accelerate or let off was the only way for it run smooth. The car has now set for 6 months. Upon stsrting it it would start then die, start then die. What could the problem be?

Hi fdunlap,

I take it that this is a fuel injected model.
After sitting for so long, many things can get stuck or clogged but since the engine can be started, it should be something to do with the idling system.

Give the throttle body a good cleanup and most probably it would be running like new again.
