My rear struts need replacing on my 1993 Toyota Camry wagon (195,000 miles); both are leaking fluid, both are very bouncy. Is this a job I could do myself? I've looked at the manual and it doesn't seem to call for the coil spring compressor, but I thought I might need this. The Toyota dealer claimed the mount and bushings needed replacing as well. Are these straightforward to replace|?

You can do this-if the shock has springs -you need the compressor go to a tool rental. its as easy as changing a baby's diaper.

Whatever you do do not remove the center nut on top of the strut tower-only the 3-little ones.

Good luck
