1999 toyota camry 4cyl. Out of the shop for bad radiator, blown head gasket. After paying around 1400 to get car back on road, at red lights etc the engine seems to go up and down as far as idling. Just yesterday the engine light came on. The repair facility was asked why was the car sluggish and they said it was because of something in the antifreeze or radiator was causing this and it should only lasts a couple of days. Does that make sense?

Sounds like your timing belt is off one tooth. Please let me know.

Perhaps it is the timing belt being off one tooth. I am by no means a mechanic. However, why would the repair shop say that it was something having to do with the antifreeze?
