1999 Toyota Camry side mirror repaired

1999 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

A friend told me I can buy a metal to plastic epoxy and glue the mirror back to the car door. Will that work? The mirror still function but it is hanging from the door.

It may or may not. Depends on the brand of epoxy and the climate you live in. Of course nothing is as good as just getting a replacement assembly and bolting it back on properly.
