When I turn my car off and remove the key it makes a noise for a few minutes before finally shutting down. What could be the problem?

Hi there,

just to difficult to comment on sorry as I do need to hear the noise, this is something that has to be heard as it could be just about anything, can you try and describe the noise, bearing? Vacuum sucking noise? Any clues will help.
