I BOUGHT CAMRY WITH CHECK ENGINE SIGN AFTER DIAGNOSE BY MECHANIC THE CODE WAS P4010.

HE DID FOLLOWING REPAIR:
1- REMOVE AND REPLACE: VSV FOR EGR
2- REMOVE AND REPLACE VALVE COVER GASKIT
3- REMOVE AND REPLACE PASSENGER SIDE STABILIZER LINK(SAFETY).
4. DRAIN ANTIFREEZE AND REFILL.

ACCORDING TO MECHANIC HE SAID WE CHANGED EGR SENSOR.

AFTER FIXING I DROVE THE CAR AFTER 1 MILE CAR STOPPED AND ENGINE SHUTOFF. MECHANIC CAME AND SAID ALL THE ELECTRIC CABLE BURNED. WE NEED TO FIX ALL CABLES BECAUSE ITS OLD CAR IT HAS PROBLEM FROM BEGNING. THE COST WILL BE $2000.00 TO FIX CABLES.

THE QUESTION I WANT TO ASK IS IT HAPPEND DURING FIXING WITH ABOVE DIAGNOSES OR THAT HAPPEND BECAUSE OF MECHANIC MISTAKE?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW I WILL BE GRATEFULL TO YOU.

THANNKS

Hi Frank,

Without the physical car, it would not be possible to provide you with any correct analysis of the problem.

If you can get a second or third opinion, that would be the ideal way of getting a correct opinion.
