I bought about 2 weeks ago toyota, it has check engine light, it has 2 codes, one for miss fire and one for EGR valve

I replaced the spark plugs and the EGR vlave, code for misfire is gone but code for EGR is still there. And it ran for 2 days fine but yesterday morning, I started the car , it started fine, but after 10 minutes engine running rough and then died. I tried to start again. It did not start, next I tried agiain, it started, I parked in the garage

please advise me

Hi there,

You will have to do some basic checks first, Fuel pressure, (fuel pump runs when ignition on for a few seconds) spark and injection pulse. If you can do or get these checked as well as a code read, fault codes dont always turn on the light, and report back with your findings, we can start to look at the causes a bit closer.
