1995 Toyota Camry oil leak

Engine leaking 1 quart every 300 mi. No smoke, good engine performance. All the cheap, accessible repairs done, gaskets.

mechanic says culd be v expensive to find leak.

any suggestions besides the obvious steam clean and track?

Hi there,

That is the next step, I would be having a look at the bottom of the bell housing, rear mains do cause problems, also, front seal and cam seal, you will have to remove the top timing belt cover to get a look at the cam seal.
