1994 Toyota Camry Gas Gauge Problem

I have a 94 Toyota Camry with an incorrect gas gauge reading.I recently replaced my fuel pump because the car would keep on stalling. Today, 2 days after I got my car, the low fuel warning light turned on and the gauge was reading only a less than half of gas left in the car. Why is this happining. Is it that you have to sync the gauge to the pump, or something else. WHY.

Hi there,

when they have replaced the pump, they have up set the sender unit, the pump is mounted onto the sender unit, I would go back and ask them to check tis out at their cost.
