Hello I am having an issue with my car that I cant seem to figure out.

Issue:

When I start my car everything is fine. I can reverse and then pop it into drive and the guages die and also the windows wont roll down. If I put it back into reverse everything pops back on and the windows work. It also makes a small chime "beep beep beep" while in drive and the guages are dead. The car still runs fine. All of the lights and stuff work including the A/C while in drive. I just dont see the guages and the windows wont work.

My thoughts : It had an alarm but I lost the remote to it long ago. Maybe that could be causing the issue. But it seems weird that the trouble only happens in drive and fixes if you put it in reverse or turn it off then back on. Please let me know what you think I should do.

You nailed it, the aftermarket alarm system is famous for causing things like this, I would remove the alarm and connected the wiring as it was from the factory.
