I have a 92 Toyota Camry LE. While driving at a normal pace and regular speed, the car seems to lose power and the steering wheel vibrates. It kinda feels like the emergency brake is engaged. After pulling over and letting it rest a minute, it's ok. What does that sound like might be happening? I just had the complete brake job. Front and rear pads and have a brand new master cylinder.

If this started after the brake job, take it back and have them fix it.

No, it started before the brake job. I thought that it might have something to do with the brake job though. Like I said before, it kinda feels like the emergency brake is on, but it's not. Do you think that it could have something to do with the emergency brake mechanisms. Or could it be the power booster. Maybe needs a new air filter or fuel filter? I'm not even sure that I'm explaining it right, it just feels like all of sudden it loses power.

It may or may not be related to brakes.

Jack car up, put on stands and rotate wheels, you can soon tell if a brake pad/shoe is the problem.

Otherwise, check fuel pressure and spark.

Also check fluid level in trans and differential.
