I just bought a 1993 toyota 4runner but the sunroof glass was cracked in a hailstorm several days ago. The guy I bought it from said there was a toyota with the right sunroof at a junk car yard. But I don't know how to remove the glass. If I'm not mistaken you simply pry the plastic garnish off of the sunroof glass then remove the bolts? But rather than just prying blindly I wanted to be sure. Is this all there is to it, and is there a way to prevent the plastic from breaking?

No you def dont just pry off the glass! I just replaceed my sunroof in my 90 4runner. You have to take off all the panels on the inside and anything that is contected to the roof. Drop the heada linner then there are bolts 9mm on the roof that surronds the glass once you have the housing off there are 4 bolts holding the glass in place
