Just replaced my driver side tie rods and found out I also need the passenger. Will driving it for a few more days effect the new one at all? Also if my inner tie rod is bad but outer one seems fine. Can I just leave the outer one instead of replacing that too?

Hi TonyDean,

If you drive it for a day or two, you will be fine. However, if you did not do an alignment, that will effect the tires more than the tie rods effecting the new one.

You do not need to replace all of them at the same time if they are okay. However, many people do because you are there and you will need to do an alignment. So whenever the last outer tie rod goes, you will need to do an alignment again. If it were me and I had more than one that was bad, I would just do all four and pay for one alignment.

Let me know if you need more information. Thanks
