My engine light came on. I check my oil and was a quart low. So I added a quart. Well today car started acting funny it felt like it did not want to accelerate. Then I drove it to the store it did not want to start. Now I hear a ticking noise on the left hand side under the hood. What can I do?

Is it cranking over and not starting or no crank no start? Also, with the key in the run position is your security light on?
