The truck listed above is an LS, EXT, 4X4.
VIN: 1GCHK29U35E248266.

Replaced Throttle Body, including the attached TPS, Oct. 2022. It went bad, I replaced it again while part was under warranty in November 2023. After that, I also replaced the Pedal Position Sensor, Pedal Sensor, and wiring harness connecting to the TPS. I replaced this part twice also.
The truck cranks and runs fine at times, a little rough when cold, then it will go into limp mode and show the check engine light, and limps.
Codes read Monday were similar to codes read previously:
P 1516
P 2135
P 0220
P 0120
From last Friday until yesterday (Wednesday) the truck was in limp mode with the engine light on. I didn’t operate it until yesterday, while waiting for tow truck, when it came out of limp mode. We drove it up on the rollback, running fine but with engine light on. When it got to the mechanic, the light was out and he said he couldn’t test it w/o engine light on and even with light on, could not diagnose any further.

Can I ask which brand throttle body are you using?

P1516: This code is related to the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) system.

P2135: This code points to a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

P0220: This code is also associated with the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

P0120: Similar to P0220, this code relates to the Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit.

These codes are all pointing toward the throttle body. Which could mean the throttle body is bad or the PCM. Here is the correct way to change out the throttle body in case you need it.

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
