Temperature gauge not working

How to know if my fans are working when the car is hot if the thermostat won't show on temperature gauge in the dash?

If you turn the A/C on the fan should come on. I would try to get temperature gauge working again. Have you checked the fuses? If so, let's try installing a new coolant temperature sensor which should fix the problem. The location is in the images below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
