Will start but when shut down it will not start again

There is not enough power to start the car or the battery will go down in about thirty minutes.

So the engine starts and it does not start?

Please clarify the question. Do you mean the battery drains out in thirty minutes and you cannot start the car or if you start the car it runs about thirty minutes, shuts off and then will not start because the battery is drained out?

Either way I would get the battery load tested and the alternator checked as it sounds like both may need replacement.
