I started my car yesterday me and my wife went to Walmart shopping and came out and loaded groceries and then tried to start my car and the car wouldn't start. I looked under the hood for anything wrong, didn't see anything, then I tried starting my car again and noticed the theft light blinking rapidly. Can you help me with what to do? Please, my car is at the Walmart parking lot. I talked to them, and they said they would give me a day to get it out of their parking lot.

You can try a hard reboot which is done by removing the negative side of the battery, with the cable loose from the negative side of the battery, hold it to the positive terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the memory capacitors in the BCM and PCM allowing the system to reboot. You might want to try a spare key as well.

Here is a guide to try as well but I think the hard reboot will work:

Please go over this guide and report back.
