The truck has a hydroboost and I have recently replaced it and the power steering pump as well. Also the Master cylinder

Hi,

It sounds like the spool valve issue, but everything is new. If you are getting brake pressure with the pedal released, something isn't allowing the pressure from the pump to be eliminated. Check to make sure there is nothing kinked or blocked in the hoses.

Let me know what you find. Also, if there is no blockage, open the master cylinder (engine off) and have a helper pump the brakes. You should see some movement in the fluid. If there is none, the hydroboost is bad.

Let me know.

God bless,
Joe
