First off. This is my first SUV (I have had older SUV'S before) with all of this fancy do-dad's in it. This rig even has OnStar in it if I want to prescribe to it. I got this vehicle from a police auction sale for a song and a dance.
The computer is telling me that the following needs to be serviced:
stabilitrak (I have no clue as to what that is)/
the airbag (why does the airbag need servicing)/
traction control (I have some idea on that, but I am not sure).
It drives like a dream. The vehicle is very responsive. I have to be really on top of my game when driving the vehicle. It takes a very tinny move of the wheel to change lanes. I am used to older cars that are not as responsive. Right now the computer says that the all wheel drive is off. I do not need the all wheel drive right now. But how do I turn on the all wheel drive for when I need it?

It sounds like a possible theft recovery or forfeiture vehicle, those can be fun at times.

The AWD is not working because of the traction control issue. You will need a shop to scan it and pull the codes for the system as well as for the airbag (SRS) system.

The SRS could be a bad sensor, bad switch or the clock spring under the steering wheel (or if this vehicle was actually being used by the police it could be as simple as a missing SRS fuse)

Once you get the codes scanned you will have a starting point as to what needs to be done to repair it.

This rig was impounded on a traffic stop and the police found street drugs in the car. I have the original key and remote. I took the rig to Auto Zone and there computer could not find anything wrong. No codes showed up.

You need a better scan tool. AZ only scans the engine computer. The issues you have are in the body control, SRS, ABS and transmission control modules.
