Hello, I am wondering why my car is overheating a bit. it goes over the half way mark but never in the red. I changed out the water pump, thermostat, radiator and temperature sensor, but it still does this. what could it be?

Good afternoon.

Does the cooling fan operate? It should come on at 217 degrees and go off at 195.

Yes, I replaced the fans as well forgot to add that. They both would come on but then again after the driver side fan wouldn't. I switched the connectors around and now they both come on together and cut off together.

You can get an infrared gun. Harbor Freight has them for about $15.00 to $20.00. Then you can take the temperature of the coolant at the thermostat housing and see the actual temperatures.
