Switching gears clunk

I took car to transmission/import car mechanic because when switching gears particularly reverse to drive it make a clunk or feels like it is speeding up. They said transmission ok but motor mount broken and repaired it. It is still making that clunk.

Have the universal joints checked out. It may be that simple

It is front wheel drive. Does it have universal joints?
