2003 Suzuki Vitara increasing RPM

My 2.0 Grand Vitara from 2003 starts with 1800 rpm, but when I use my clutch to change gear the rpm is going to 2500rpm for a few seconds. After this seconds the rpm is going down to the 1800 rpm. This is only happening with a cold engine and takes about one minute.
After this the engine is running perfect.
Suzuki dealer says ir is no problem but I think it is very irritating.

Have the IAC (idle air control) checked

The dealer cleaned the idle control valve and reset the computer by connecting the batterycables for two minutes.
The problem is fixed now.
