Oil leak diagnosed as leaking valve cover gaskets which require removal of engine to replace at a cost of $1300? Is this true that the engine needs to be removed to replace valve cover gaskets?

Hi there,

You do not have to remove the engine to replace the gaskets, there is a bit of work involved in getting enough access, the book time to do this job is about 1.5 Hrs to do both gaskets.
