I just had a transmission swap in a '91 Loyale. Now all the warning lights stay on while the car is running. They get brighter (somewhat) with higher RPMs. The dash volt meter shows 14V charging. Also they went out temporarily when the engine was degreased and pressure washed.(Now staying on again) I thought possibly a loose ground, but haven't found any as of yet. Any ideas where to look next?

This diagram may help.

Based on the age of the auto, there may be wires that have corroded and are now feeding the wrong circuits. Based on the pressure-washing scenario, I would put someone ion the driver's seat while the other wiggles harnesses, first focusing on those related to the diagram. IF the lights flicker, you know your onto it.

I would check the true alterator output separately from the dash gauge.
