My exhaust system just started being really loud. Located in the front end, i may have hit an ice ball or a small branch in the storm. Is it just a disconnected part or a hole in the pipe? Is it something that i can fix with moderate difficulty?

What I had encountered previously was the exhaust pipe was pulled (driver ran over parking lot divider), and broke the flange gasket. The pipe is fairly strong to break just because you hit ice or a branch. I really believe you just "moved" the pipe and ruined the gasket.
