Strut mount replacement

Was diagnosed with bad front struts, purchased the strut mount. basically must compress the springs, loosen the bolt and replace it? Of course after the whole strut is out?

Yes, the strut must be removed and installed in a spring compressor to remove the mount. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer for the removal, disassembly, assembly, and installation of the strut mounts for your vehicle.
