Hi, I have the car listed above LE with backup camera Bluetooth AM/FM stereo CD. When I try to touch the screen to change anything it doesn’t work it freezes. When I try to use the steering wheel hand button to change anything either to talk on the cell phone Bluetooth or change a channel on any radio station or CD it does not work it’s like there is no power to them.

When I make a call from the cell phone my Bluetooth works. When I get in the car it’ll be random I might get FM I might get the CD playing but I can’t change a station or anything I have to turn the car off reboot it and see what happens. Basically the steering wheel also doesn’t communicate anything to the system. On the screen.

I really need to be able to use hands-free talking through the Bluetooth. Do you think that buying a brand new screen might help the problem or do you think I need a whole new system/reboot/upgrade addition to anything? Thank you.

This is common when the clock spring behind the steering wheel goes out. To be sure lets do a CAN scan which is the future of automotive repair. you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $50.00. here is a video to show you how:

Also we should check the fuses. here is a guide to help with the fuse locations in the diagrams below:

Here is how you change the clock spring out as well. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.
