The car will start when cold and run for about thirty seconds then die. I was able to drive the car at night, but it died in the driveway and wont stay running. I replaced the fuel pump and the CPS and it would start and run when cold for about thirty seconds and then it died. It would not start back up. I cleaned the throttle body and it still will not start. I started having problems immediately after I filled up with gas. The tank had about four gallons in it when I filled it up. Died right after I filled it up and started about four hours later. It ran for about ten minutes then died. Started up about three hours later and died going up a hill. There was some hesitation at first then it just died. I let it sit for several hours then it started back up and ran for a few minutes.

It turned out to be the DI Cassette. I checked to see if I was getting any spark and it wasn't. I pulled it off the car and checked it on my 2004 and it wouldn't start. I replaced it and all is well. Back on the road again. The one that I had on the car was about a year old and only had about 25,000 miles on it. I replaced it with a genuine Saab cassette. The previous one was a Professional Parts Sweden cassette and I won't make that mistake again.

Yes a lot of parts are junk as the are made in china if you stick with name brand parts normally they are pretty good they may be made in another country but are made to their spec.
