Hi there, I have a '99' Saab 9-5 2.3t auto and recently it has started cutting out on me for no reason. Examples are mostly, 1. When stood idling.2. When i'm braking for a junction or traffic light.3. Even started doing it whilst trying to drive normally. It feels like it's missing, Then it'll be fine, Then it'll lose power altogether again, Then it'll pick up and go? Not understanding this. Could it be the Crank Sensor? I have already replaced the Fuel-Pump(This did cease recently), The Fuel-filter, Spark-Plugs, Oil & Filter and Air filter. But each time it cuts out whilst idling or crawling to a stop, I re-start the car and it starts everytime. It's just keeping it going.

I would be removing and cleaning the CKP (crank position sensor) or replacing !!

I believe it is Oxygen Sensor as I have recently changed the Crank Shaft (4 months before) and still there is an issue of car stopping on a red light.

Check the IAC (idle air control) valve. Also remove and clean the MAF (mass airflow) sensor !
