Hi,

First, this model isn't offered in the US, but I will try to help. Is the fuel pump working properly and supplying proper pressure? Have you tried to bleed the system? Has the fuel system been opened for anything recently? When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds?

Please run down this guide and report back.

Let me know. Joe

If fuel pressure is within spec, then either we have a blown fuse or a wiring issue to the ECM. If you check under hood, there should be an injector/ECU fuse. The one I looked up (trying to find info) was fuse 2 (20amp).

If it is good, then you need to check for an injector pulse from the ECU to make sure the injectors are even getting power. Here is a link that shows how it's done in general along with checking an injector. As mentioned, there will be several different tests in the link. However, we need to focus on determining if there is an electrical pulse reaching the injector. I don't have a schematic, but also make sure that the ground for the injectors wasn't damaged during the work. In most cases, they have a common ground.

I'm trying my friend, but I'm running blind. LOL

Let me know.

Joe

I have the vehicle listed above (Bakkie). It is very good on engine swinging, but never starts. What went wrong? It was not like this before. What can be a problem?

Can I ask if it is diesel? When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds?

Hi I own a 1999 Hyundai h100 which has a 2.5 litre diesel engine which is the same engine as in Mitsubishi l300s and pajero. It has been lying up for the last 2 years but was started regularly up until now. Its turning over and when I tow it, it runs off the power of the vehicle towing it. I was told to bring power to the injector pump and I did but it still does the same thing. It was driving up the road one day and it cut out and I have not been able to get it going since, any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

At the injector there is a fuel cut solenoid. Did you check if it is getting battery voltage and are the injectors firing?
Is the fuel system good?
