It is common when the engine won't start and has no spark that the crankshaft angle sensor has gone bad, but we should run the codes to see what comes up. You can get a code scanner from Amazon for about $20.00.

Here is the location of the sensor and how to change it out in the images below. I assumed you have the 2.4 engine. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
