Stalled while driving and when transmission is put into drive

I was driving the car and it stalled put it in park started it up and started up fine put it in drive stalled again. I just bought this car and it may have sat for a little while, do you think the fuel may have gone bad? Does it has something to do with it? I had it towed home.

Hello.

When you put it in the does the car jolt like a standard transmission car you just let the clutch out? Can you take a quick video of what the car is doing so I can see and tell for sure? You can upload it in your reply.

Is the check engine light on? If so lets run this guide.
