Hey guys, here is another one:
Truck keeps idling rough, the only code I got was a p0122 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a circuit low.
but I'm still waiting for that sensor to come in. Anyhow, I have changed out the ignition coils, new plugs, new sparkplug wires, new Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor, fresh oil change, coolant is clean and filled. I have noticed some hard shifting so I changed out the transmission filter with fresh fluid. Truck would not accelerate more than forty miles an hour, I can press in the peddle and no power after that to push. I did go back and checked the wiring diagram for the sparkplug wires and they are good and no codes on any cylinder misfire. I'm just curious if the throttle body sensor itself is causing all this. Hit me up if you have any clues.

Good morning again,

The TPS will affect the shift points and could be the issue for the transmission.

As far as the engine is concerned, I would start with a compression test on all cylinders. You need 140-160 in each cylinder.

Also, if you have a scan tool, can you give me the long-term trim % for banks 1 and 2. If you have a vacuum leak causing the issue, it will show up in these readings.

So, I changed out the Throttle body sensor and shifting is better now, but the idling is still rough also power is lacking. I sent a video and photo of what my scanner picked up as per your request. I was going to purchase a compression test kit today, but the auto shop was out. I'll think of getting it when it's in. Also, I noticed one of the cylinders sparking when running with a very light ticking noise. I snugged on the plugs to make sure it was fitted in good, and it was. I'm not sure what to make of that.

Long-term trims are on the money. I doubt there is a vacuum leak.

Check the compression and get back to me when you can.
