Well, I thing I might have messed up. I was taking out all of my spark plugs and they all came out fine, except for 1. As I was loosening it I felt a lot of resistance so what do I do? I keep loosening it and some of the threads on the plug came out looking bad. Comparing that hole to all the other ones it definitely looks like a few threads got messed up. What do I do now? Fine someone to re-thread the hole? I'm thinking that's my only option, but I thought it might not hurt to ask you guys.

Hello,

Having a spark plug cross threaded and messing up the threads is a common occurrence. Not to worry. At any auto parts store you can get a heli coil for your vehicle to put in your spark plug hole and it will be as good as new. You will need to have a drill and a specific size drill bit, but just follow the simple directions that come on the package, and that's it. Please get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
