Dear Joe,

Update on the sway bar stabilizer links. After a couple of weeks the noise started to return. The issue I had with the stabilizer links that I installed was that I couldn't apply a torque wrench because in order to tighten the nut on the stud, you had to hold the stud with a torx socket to prevent the stud from turning. I decided to purchase the Moog stabilizer links that have a nut on the stud to hold with a box wrench to prevent the stud from turning while I was able to torque the nut on the distal end to the correct torque specifications. In almost a month, no more issues! Also, the Moog product was much more substantial in quality; therefore, worth the additional cost. I'm now quite the expert in removing and installing sway bar stabilizer links!
Hope this will help other people that have to replace this part.
Steve

Welcome back:

That's good news. And yes, two wrenches are needed to tighten them. Anything to make things more difficult.

I feel confident your post will help others. And Moog makes great parts!

Take care and let us know if you have other questions in the future.

Joe
