Sometimes engine stalls when van comes to full stop

Sometimes when I apply brake and when van comes to full stop, the engine takes the last breath and turns off. On ignition, it starts again very easily though. I wonder how to diagnose this problem, and what repairs should be made. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Also, if that matters, my van had brake repairs done approximately last December. Can this be related to breaks?

Try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner first. Also if an iac hole clean that as well.

Sounds like the battery might have been disconnected or run dead recently. If so, the Engine Computer lost its memory and has to relearn "minimum throttle" before it will know when it must be in control of idle speed. It also might not give you the normal "idle flare-up" to 1500 rpm when you start the engine. To meet the conditions for the relearn to take place, drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the brake or gas pedals.
