Rear brake shoe scraping

Hello, on my vehicle listed above (wagon) when I release the brake the rear brake shoe scrapes for about a quarter mile, then sound goes away. Otherwise the brakes are good. Could it be a broken or bad shoe return spring? Thank you. Donnie Fincham

Good evening.

This sounds more like the hold down spring which keeps the shoe flat against the backing plate. Remove the drum and be sure the shoes are tight against the backing plate.

Number 11 in the picture I attached.
