Can I ask if the gear range lights are all working? Also is the check engine light on? We need more information to help you, please run the codes to see which ones are stored and get back to me so I can get things figured out for you.

Also, does the shifter feel okay like it is moving through the gear okay? Please upload videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

No codes and gears you can feel when it catches reverse but when going into drive or other slides right through easily but it does seem to work when using manual gear. every now and then it would catch in drive but takes off really slow trying to check transmission control solenoid which i believe is same thing as a shift solenoid but when looking doesn't seek to have its own solenoid or something no overheating no noises shuddering only time makes loud pop noise is when engaging in manual and when taking off but after that drives okay. Changed fluid not sure how to check if it's converter.

Did you run the codes for the system to see if any are stored? Also, when you put the truck in drive does the light for drive illuminate? Here is a guide to help us:

Can I ask why you think shift control solenoid is bad, was there a code? If so, what is it?

Okay, so, apparently the linkage was not connected but now it engages in all gears finally perfectly fine but when driving doesn't seem to want to pick up last gear what should I do now.

Thanks for the video it helps. I can see the RPMs going up. Can I ask if when you did the fluid change did you change the fluid filter? I have seen the filter come loose form the valve body and suck air which can cause this issue.

Okay, now living on ranch and it's all diet road as you can see bumpy to the fact that we haven't been able to push on the gas like we would on highway. would that make a difference because mechanic did a reprogramming on computer? just a thought.

Another question is, I'm not sure if there is sound on video, hopefully, but can you hear the squeaking when going over rocks which is everywhere so you can hear it all the time but not sure what bushings they'd would be.

Yep, I have seen a reflash both fix and make a problem worse, so it depends on the program that is loaded. I would clear the codes and take it for a drive and then run the codes again. Also, did you try the hard system reboot?

Okay, what are the chances of the valve body getting messed up from a fire? We got stuck in sand and when they were trying to get it out of sand guessing muffler got too hot started a fire underneath truck, it eventually turned itself off. I looked underneath not too many signs of things being melted, but now truck will go drive when in changed over to manual gear. When out of manual gear and in drive will go for a bit but then speedometer revs up and that's when I need to shift into manually gear and will continue to go do I need a whole new transmission or just get a new valve body zip kit?
