I have a solid security light while cranking. Won’t start. No power to fuel pump. I disconnected the battery negative cable. Waited 30 minutes. Reconnect and push fob lock fob unlock. Still has security light. Car has a smashed right rear door handle. Could this be the problem? Should I disconnect the door wires?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I don't think the door issue is causing the problem. For some reason, the immobilizer has shut the vehicle down. If you have a spare key, try that first. If it doesn't help, you really need to have the vehicle computer scanned to identify where to start the diagnosis. There are multiple things which can cause the light to stay on. However, the only way to know where and how to focus is if you can scan the computer with a proper scanner.

I attached a pic below. It shows the codes related to the immobilizer/problems. Take a look through them and you'll understand why it needs done.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
